Is A Personal Trainer the Right Choice For Me?
From time to time we all need a helping hand in life. Chances are if you are reading this website you will have tried gyms, slimming clubs, crash diets (or possibly not ate at all) all to no avail. It is a proven fact that when individuals have a training partner they are more likely to achieve their objectives.
If you are the kind of person who is finding it difficult to motivate themselves, possibly not sure where to start or what is the best combination of diet and exercise to undertake is, then a personal trainer is the best choice for you.
How Does It Work?
At our first meeting, we will take the time to understand your long-term objectives and what you want to achieve. We will find out how much time you can realistically commit to this process and then things like your current exercise pattern and also your existing food intake.
We will then set about working up a tailored fitness and health programme for you to follow. This programme can be adapted as we go through it and we will have regular review periods, where we will track what you initially wanted out of the programme and how you are doing so far.
We are here to help and provide you with a personal trainer who will be there with you every step of the way.
What Can I Expect?
After our initial meeting we will go through a comprehensive fitness assessment with you. At this fitness assessment we will take the time to understand your end objectives and then we will then set an appointment (date/time/location) and bring along portable exercise equipment which will be chosen specifically to best meet the results you want to achieve. This equipment is also great for use in a home environment.
We will also supplement your exercise programme with a tailored diet plan alongside motivation and lifestyle workshops which provide information to ensure maximum results.
Our goal is to not only help you obtain your goals but to help you maintain them as well!

Fitness To You is a mobile personal trainer service, so your trainer will visit you at your chosen venue (most likely your home) meaning that you don’t incur the cost, time and hassle of travelling to and from the gym.
Your personal trainer will also bring all exercise equipment that is required for each session, all you need is ensure there is a small area of clear floorspace to undertake the exercises. The selection of equipment will be tailored to help you achieve your goals as efficiently as possible, and for any given session might include boxing equipment, gym ball (pilates/exercise ball), weights, suspension training equipment, an aerobic step or other equipment.
How many sessions will I need to book?
The number of sessions you will need obviously depends on your current condition, as well as on how ambitious your goals are.
For instance, if you want to lose a substantial amount of weight or have not exercised in some time, then you would need a greater number of sessions to achieve your target goals. Whereas if you are quite close to your ideal weight and already exercise regularly, then you will need a smaller number of sessions to achieve your target goals.
Our clients usually find that the first few weeks of working with us brings some of the most rewarding benefits, higher energy levels, better sleep, improved mobility, and a greater sense of motivation. Remember that it is much easier to lose the first few pounds of weight than the last few pounds, and so during the first few weeks of working with your personal trainer you will probably start to notice a change in your waistline, or your dress or jean size.
By committing to a block of sessions you’ll be well on the way to establishing some new and positive habits in your life. Many experts believe that it takes 21 days or longer to establish a new pattern of behaviour in your life.
